Medical Career in India

Medicine is a vast area, and especially in India. Medical careers are available in the multitude of academic and skill levels, but there are also available in various areas such as homeopathy or allopathy.

The medicine comes in two categories:
i) is also known as traditional, alternative, homeopathic, or overall;
ii) Modern, also called Western, or Allopathic.

Occasionally overlap between the two, and seeing that there has been a resurgence in the popularity of traditional medicine over the last few years, there is a possibility of more overlap because there is an increasing push to include both areas and to combine. Currently, however, while choosing a career in medicine to work, you should still focus on one or the other, so that it is possible to know which educational track is to be followed.
